But now, Hake Yachts has changed all that with its Seaward 26RK & Seaward 32RK “Smart Keel” technology. Whether you’re a novice or old salt, you can now sail with great confidence and efficiency, or explore the backwater shallows to your heart’s content. Just flip a switch from the helm of your Seaward and enjoy the adventure. For over 35 years, we’ve been building boats to a very high standard, but now, we are also building memories.

THE SEAWARD 26RK is a boat unlike any other. Because her Smart Keel™ and rudder adjust vertically, she has a grand personality and perfect sailing abilities. The first thing you should know is that her draft varies from 16" to 6'. The keel can be positioned anywhere within its range so you’re able to adjust draft to suit the water depth and wind conditions you’re sailing in for ultimate performance, without compromising balance.

THE SEAWARD 32RK Vertically retracting Smart KeelTM adds a performance enhancing dimension to a sailboat that is already a very confident and comfortable coastal cruiser. With draft that varies from 20" to 6'6", you can belly up to your favorite sandbar or sneak into the hidden cove you’ve been wanting to explore... or you can put the keel down and head offshore with confidence, knowing the ballast is engineered at the tip of the keel, where it can do the most for your boat's stability.
