The new Seawind 1000XL is the latest refinement of this very popular cruising catamaran, featuring an additional 850mm waterline length with the new Transom Extension. This new hull refinement provides overall better performance under sail and power, whilst providing easier boarding access with larger steps, inboard access from a dinghy and swim ladder hatch. More than 40 have already been sold in Australia and the USA since its launch in 2007, adding to the 50 Seawinds already located in the USA. Not only is the Seawind 1160 an excellent sailing boat, but it also features some innovative features including the famous Tri-folding Door which opens the boat into a huge indoor/outdoor living space, complimented by excellent natural light throughout, a huge galley, island queen sized bed and spacious bathroom & head.
